At Dear Gleam, your satisfaction is important to us. We want you to feel confident when choosing jewellery from our collection, so we have created a clear and flexible returns and exchanges policy.
Policy Applicability
This Returns and Exchanges Policy applies to customers within Australia.
International customers should contact our Customer Service team for information regarding returns and exchanges available in their region.
30-Day Returns
We understand that an item may not always meet your expectations. Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of purchase in exchange for store credit or a gift certificate.
Please note that we do not offer refunds for change of mind.
Store Credit and Gift Certificates
The value of your store credit or gift certificate will be equal to the amount originally paid for the returned item.
If your original order was placed using a promotional or discount code, the original code cannot be reissued. However, your store credit will remain valid for three years and may be used during future promotions or sales.
Return Conditions
To qualify for a return:

The item must be returned within 30 days of purchase.

The item must be unworn, unused and in its original condition.

The item must be returned in its original packaging.

A return authorisation number must be obtained from Customer Service before the item is sent back.
Items that do not meet these conditions may not be accepted.
Earrings
For hygiene and safety reasons, earrings are not eligible for return or exchange.
Sale Items
Items purchased during a sale may be returned within the applicable return period in exchange for store credit or a gift certificate, provided they meet all return conditions.
Gift Purchases
We understand that gifts may be purchased well before they are given.
Should you require an extended return period for a gift purchase, please contact our Customer Service team. Requests will be considered individually and remain subject to approval.
Exchanges
Exchanges for Different Products
We are unable to offer direct exchanges for a different product because prices, promotions and product conditions may vary.
Instead, eligible items may be returned under our 30-day return policy. Once approved, store credit or a gift certificate will be issued so you can place a new order for an item that better suits your needs.
Ring Size Exchanges
We offer exchanges specifically for ring size adjustments.
Should your ring not fit as expected, please contact our Customer Service team so we can assist you in selecting a more suitable size.
Ring size exchanges are subject to:

Product and size availability.

The ring being unworn and in its original condition.

The ring being returned in its original packaging.

Approval from our Customer Service team.
This direct exchange service applies only to ring size changes. Other products must be returned in exchange for store credit or a gift certificate.
Discounts and Promotions
For an approved ring size exchange, any discount applied to the original order will generally be retained for the replacement size.
However, product pricing and promotional eligibility may depend on the circumstances of the exchange and the promotions available at that time.
Return Shipping
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item has been assessed as having a manufacturing fault.
We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as Dear Gleam cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost or damaged during return transit.
How to Make a Return
Before sending an item back, contact our Customer Service team through one of the following channels:

You must receive a return authorisation number from Customer Service before sending your parcel.
Please clearly write the return authorisation number on the outside of the parcel or include it inside the package.
Ensure the item is securely packed in its original packaging and remains in its original, unworn condition.
Once your return has been received by our Head Office, please allow three to five business days for our team to assess the item and provide an update.
